Ryan P-47 Thunderbolt
Most if not all of the planes in our club are powered by glow or gas fuel.
I will never become a electric finatic but I do see some atvantages.
I've put this plane on my build list for a couple specific reasons.
I want something that I can fly before going to work in the summer.
Just take this little baby behind my house at 6:15am, toss it up in the air and let it go!
No messing with fuel, no adjusting the carb and no waking the neighbors, I hope!
The plans for this plane are in Model Aviation July 2001.
It is designed by Jim Ryan and has a small wing span of 31".
This will be the first plane that I make from scratch.
Right now I'm just looking at the plans and scratching my head!
